ZIPPY新巨新巨电源事业处1993年设立电源事业处以来，就本着以提供高质量及高可靠度的电源产品给客户为主要信念。以技术领先,质量优良,产品多样齐全获得客户的信赖。

ZIPPY新巨企业股份有限公司所生产之「电源供应器」，主要提供服务器（Server）、工业计算器（IPC）、储存系统（Storage）、工作站(Workstation)、刀锋型服务器(BladeServer)、通讯设备、工业设备、医疗设备、广电、风力设备等等多项产业之产品系统使用，其规格与质量都远高过一般国内所生产供PC使用之电源。

强大的研发团队具多年专业的开发技术及丰富的设计经验及开发能力，得以让“ZIPPY”至今有400多项在电源方面的专利，并在业界享有高知名度。ZIPPY新巨强大的开发能力来自于目前六十多位专业的研发工程师，全心地投入产品的设计与研发，其中半数以上的工程师更具有15年以上的电源开发与设计经验，加上多种IT辅助设计系统、测试仪器及相关设施，促使“ZIPPY”电源新产品的开发时程大幅缩短及减少研发时间及错误，远比同业电源厂缩短了几个月的时间。

“被动式背板设计”
线路只提供监视及电压补偿作用，即使背板之被动组件故障也不会导致电源失效，这是达到真正备援效果的专业技术。

运用N+1模块化技术，可用于3U以上服务器与6U、8U工业级机箱，在空间运用上更具弹性。

“负载均衡(LoadSharing)”

优良的检验设备及人力资源
俗语说：『工欲善其事，必先利其器』，ZIPPY新巨品保中心之所以能完善地管制质量，精密且能因应各项检验需求之量测仪器及设备是不可或缺的一部份，现行品保中心仪器设备在外购部分有投影机、电镀膜厚机、维克氏硬度试验机、3D量测仪、安规测试机、深度规、推拉力机、微电阻机、卡尺、张力计等等，而内部亦有专责研发单位负责特殊治具之制作维修，且均有定期校验确保量测之准确性，均足以提供从IQC、IPQC、到FQC能做严格且正确无误之管控。品管课检验人员之平均资历接近10年，故每个人均拥有敏锐纯熟的专业检验能力，对产品质量之管控有极高的水平，这也是ZIPPY新巨开关拥有优良质量的原因之一。

完善的品保制度
现行ZIPPY新巨之电子零组件事业处已通过ISO9001及IATF16949等各项国际质量认证，以期能与世界潮流同步，达成更高之质量要求，进军其他安全要求度更高之产业，品保中心亦本着实事求是、提升质量、以客为尊、永续经营之精神，做好质量管制之工作。此外，举凡检验指导书、PMP、QC工程图、SPC、FMEA、相关检验报表等质量文件，均持续更新制作。针对质量问题解决与矫正部分，亦有时段性之讨论及管控，以期能实时性的解决问题以及永久性的改善矫正。在新产品开发方面，品保中心亦以同步研发之方式于开发初期即参与讨论，不论是成品或零件规格、检验方式、检验设备及能力之评估，均能以品保专业之角度提供意见，试产时亦能针对各方面之检验结果提出参考数据及建议，以使最终量产之问题降到最低。客诉部分均于最短时间内回复客户，即使最终原因厘清为客户机构或使用问题，品保中心亦会本着服务客户的精神，建议客户正确的方式以及协助客户修改机构，使客户能顺利出货为ZIPPY新巨之最大心愿。

Power Division

Zippy Technology Corporation, POWER Division manufactures the Power Supplies for File Servers, Industrial PCs (IPC), Storage Systems, Workstations, Blade Servers, Communication Systems, Industrial Equipments, Medical Devices, Telecom/Broadcast Systems, and Wind Power Equipments. The Power Supplies have the highest specifications and qualities compare to average PC power supplies produced by domestic power manufacturer.

Zippy Technologies Corp. has invested a tremendous amount of time and effort in our eMES and Computerized Testing Equipment. Our goal is to develop the highest quality products and establish the most efficient manufacturing process all while reducing production costs and meeting the demands of an ever-changing market.

Our Flexible Production System allows us to make various adjustments to our production schedule. We have achieved this by integrating our production process into a company-wide network, which allows us to meet the schedule requirements of the most demanding customers.

Our factory is located in Taipei, Taiwan. With a capacity of approximately 100,000 units per month, Zippy Technology has always emphasized its flexibility, customization, and quality.

R&D
Our power division is particularly well known for manufacturing highly reliable and high-power redundant power supplies with outstanding quality. More than 30 professional engineers devote themselves to design and develop products with the latest equipment and testing tools. Our expertise and experience allow us to reduce the time to market for new designs, achieving lead times three to six months faster than our competitors.

Core Technology
Passive Backplane Design
Many redundant systems utilize passive backplanes, where the components on the backplane perform monitoring and voltage compensation functions only. In the rare event of backplane failure, it is likely the supply will continue to operate.

Modular Technology
Modular power supply units provide great flexibility in space challenged applications, when designed into today’s common and custom server chassis designs.

Load Sharing
Our redundant Power Supplies are all based on load sharing technology, which help to provide more reliable operation and a longer life for each individual module.

True Wattage
Our power supplies are designed to work at 100% of their specified load, indefinitely, over their lifetime. Unlike other manufacturers who often specify peak wattage which is only available in short bursts.

For the effective control of the impacts from company's activities, products and services on the environment, Zippy’s Power Division starts building ISO14000 international environmental management system from November 2011. Consisting of Environmental Management Commission to promote and implement the system of environmental protection measures, the implementation of prevention and control of environmental pollution.

Zippy since its inception in April 1983, has always been to uphold the quality of the company's operating principles as important for product reliability and safety. We have fruitful results for many domestic and foreign patents, and access to technology leadership in the industry. Given the combination of product and environmental protection for the future development trend of global enterprises, in 2007 Zippy’s Power Division production plant completed QC080000 certification for waste reduction and energy conservation. We create many training programs for all the staffs to establish the concepts of recycling resource and reducing hazardous waste, and finding non-toxic, non-polluting alternatives.

Founded in 1983, ZIPPY Technology Corporation started with the development and manufacture of micro switches. Currently the company has two major divisions which include Power and Electronic Components. The Electronic Components Division focuses on the development of micro switches. Zippy EC team dedicates in researching and developing high performance switches and owns more than 155 worldwide micro switch patents. Besides holding the essential technology of manufacturing IP67 waterproof switches to market and high rating and long life than other switch competitor’s. “Good work to be produced from advantageous instruments” a folks adage. To the quality control, various kinds of precise and applicable instrument are necessarily required for testing and inspection.

The imported equipments in QC Center are consisting of: overhead projector, micro ohmmeter, Calibrator, Gauges, tension force measurement etc. To meet the special tooling requirements, the internal R&D department is responsible for the fabrication and maintenance of such work.

QC engineers’ work experience and qualification of ten years in average, are all penetrative, well versed and professional to the inspection, being one of ZIPPY’s most valuable property.

To get along with the new trend of the world, upgrading demand in qualification to a higher level, marching toward some other industries in higher requisition. QA Center’s theory of operation are; seek trust from facts, be practical and realistic, customer the first, perfect Quality Control, improved quality of product, and eternal operations. As for revision and renewal of all relevant documents such as: Inspection Guide, PMP, QC Engineering diagrams, SPC, FMEA, and inspection report, etc. are part of Center’s work as well.

To have a real time response, periodical discussion, control in solution and correction of quality problems are held regularly/Irregularly. In the respect of new product development, to minimize any possible error in mass production phase, QA Center participate in the development phase firstly, such as: inspection, method, study in the applicable testing equipment and it’s feasibility, given comments in professional point of view, provision of useful reference data and/or suggestion based on the results of inspection in trial production phase. Customer Service Office provides a soonest response in either clarification and explanation, user’s guide or some assistance improving way of operation. In conclusion, customer’s smoothly reception and/or delivery shall be our most favorable aspiration.
